Syed Muzaffar Andrabi
Founder & Tour Director
For more than 35 years, Syed Muzaffar Andrabi has been designing journeys that stay with you long after you’ve unpacked your bags. With over 75 countries stamped into his passport, his journeys have taken him from the sweeping steppes of Mongolia to the icy majesty of Lake Baikal in Siberia, from the thundering drama of Africa’s great wildebeest migration to the poetic beauty of Japan’s cherry blossom season.
Before founding Asian Caravans, Muzaffar worked with the world’s most respected travel brands, including Abercrombie & Kent and Travcoa, curating experiences for travelers who expect nothing less than exceptional. His approach is deeply personal – each itinerary is built to reveal a place’s heart, not just its highlights.
Whether it’s a sunrise over a sacred mountain or a quiet conversation with a local elder, Muzaffar believes the true luxury of travel is in the moments that touch the soul.
Irfana Andrabi

Irfana Andrabi’s travels have taken her along the ancient Silk Road, into the courtyards of Sufi shrines, and across the shifting sands of the Middle East’s great deserts. She has an eye for beauty, a love for history, and a deep respect for the traditions that give a place its soul.
A connoisseur of culture and cuisine, Irfana is as comfortable navigating the fragrant chaos of a spice market as she is introducing guests to a centuries-old shrine or a private performance of traditional music. Her deep knowledge of culinary heritage ensures that each journey is also a gastronomic voyage, revealing the flavors, rituals, and stories that define a place. Irfana weaves local flavors into her itineraries – whether it’s a home-cooked meal in Samarkand, a tasting in a bustling spice bazaar, or a private table set beneath the desert stars.
For our all-female journeys, she personally leads the groups, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where women can explore, connect, and share in experiences that feel both safe and inspiring.
